Our Mission Statement
The Mizzou Hydrogen Car Team is made up of students who seek to promote awareness of alternative fuels, develop technology, and allow members to gain practical experience by designing, building, and competing with a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.
This year we will be competing in the Shell Eco-marathon March 26-28, 2010 in Houston, Texas. We are designing Tigergen II for the UrbanConcept Challenge, a efficiency competition that subjects our car to constraints that resemble those of a consumer vehicle. Tigergen II will have the essentials such as four wheels, brake lights, and a luggage compartment. During the competition we will have to stop multiple times to simulate city driving conditions. We are looking forward to the competition with great anticipation.
